The Telling by Alexandra Sirowy (Interesting, no?)

Are you a fan of mystery and thrillers? Then, The Telling by Alexandra Sirowy is definitely going to be the book for you! It stars Lana, a high school girl whose enchanting step-brother, Ben, has been murdered. He was the biggest portion of her childhood and was her role model. Now that he is gone, Lana has changed into what he used to be, a daredevil who is trying to live Ben’s life for him. That is until the murders continue.
The Telling

For fans of Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None this is an intriguing book. There are many plot twists and you could never guess the ending, which definitely turns out to be a surprise. Lana is a brave, strong character and this story will pull you in and leave you needing to finish this book within the night. As most people know, I am not a fan of anything related to any type of mystery horrors, but this was a perfect mix of mystery thriller, realistic fiction and adventure. I felt a strong connection to the plight the protagonist was experiencing, which is probably why I kept going even if I am a bit of a scaredy-cat. The Telling is an incredibly enthralling book and even if it does not seem attractive to you right now, give it a chance!
