This book follows a teenage boy named Thomas. The book starts off describing Thomas traveling in a metal box as he struggles to remember any information of his past. He arrives to this large maze also known as the Glade where he is welcomed by faces of many young boys his age. He soon learns that his life and the lives of these boys are all surrounded by this maze. Thomas soon learns the maze is his only way out. After adjusting to his new lifestyle, the boys of the Glade are brought a surprise. When they are welcomed a newbie, they are delivered the first girl ever, and she has brought them a special message about the end coming soon. Feeling the danger nearing, Thomas and his friends must find a way to escape and get through the maze.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes a lot of adventure and mystery. This book is very well written and constantly keeps you on the edge of your seat.
